PLASTIC MILLING PARTS - EVEN IN SMALL SERIES.
Machining is the fastest and most economical way to make a finished plastics part. This particularly applies to small series production. Users from the chemical industry, foodstuff technology, renewable energy, pharmaceutic industry, mechanical engineering, medical and clean room technology trust our long-term expertise.
PLASTIC CUTTING — More than suitable.
Our own production facilities enable us to quickly react to the requirements
of our customers. From simple panel- or length cutting to finished components.
WE OFFER HIGHLY FLEXIBLE 3D PRINTING IN SILICONE!
Using a 3D printing process according to your specifications, we can manufacture your desired part for you from the innovative silicone material LSR50 - with a quality close to that of injection moulding. Whether cross, grid or honeycomb structures, so much is possible with 3D printing: even geometric shapes that could not be produced with conventional manufacturing technologies until now!
THE BEST TECHNICAL PROPERTIES
The part that is produced by 3D printing is almost identical in its properties to silicone parts that are produced by injection moulding, where the latter requires expensive tools with a correspondingly long lead time for their production.
The secret behind the rapid setting of the material is its design as a two-component material: The 3D printed silicone moulded parts display mechanical properties that are the same in all spatial directions, which means that they do not exhibit the anisotropy so often found in 3D printing.
An overview of the technical data of the LSR50 printed end product:
- Shore hardness: 50A
- Fracture strain: 525% (in all three dimensions)
- Temperature range: -60 °C to 200 °C
- Colour: transparent
- Other: Resistant to UV and ozone
- Replacement for elastomers like EPDM, SBR, NR, PU, NBR
AREAS OF APPLICATION FOR 3D PRINTED LSR50 PARTS
The possibilities for implementing our 3D printed parts are almost limitless. Based on its properties, the material is well suited for the following industries:
- Aerospace:
e.g. for coatings, covers, insulation, liquid and gas transport - Medical technology:
e.g. for device gaskets, casings, patient-specific support and protection structures - Electronics:
e.g. as casings, gaskets, insulation - Foodstuffs:
e.g. for the transport and storage of liquids and other substances, as gaskets and damping modules (material is suitable for use with foodstuffs / complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 / EU 1935/2004) - Research:
e.g. for fixture construction and individual liquid and gas handling
Frame sealings
We make sealing frames from profiles and offer the elastomer quality grades silicone, EPDM, NBR and FPM as percustomer specification.
Profile Sealings
Customer-specific profiles are hot-vulcanized into rings. This method minimizes tool costs and enables your design departement scope to provide customer-specific special dimensions.
Toroidal sealing rings
Seamless assembly from extruded round cord. Extremely flexible solution for manufacturing rings of specific dimensions with up to 5,000 mm inner diameter and more without tools. Rings from special compounds such as silicone rings in 25° Shore can also be made in small numbers.
Hose rings
Hot volcanized rings from hose material are used as an alternative to foam round cords. Furthermore, these can be filled with various materials, if desired, which can be used to further influence the hardness.
We design 2D contours according to drawings, samples or your specifications. Any version and number of flat sealings and rubber rings. The versatility in terms of materials is endless.
FINISHING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL — CLEANING
Increasing requirements on component quality in medical technology demand ever more complex solutions. We develop customized cleaning processes in collaboration with the customer, making sure they satisfy the legal requirements applicable to medical products. The goal is depletion of the bioburden, i.e. the particle and chemical exposure. We have long-term experience in the areas of material properties and production processes that enables us to provide great support to our customers.
FINISHING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL — LASER MARKING
Many of our materials can be marked with laser permanently, fast and with good quality in many different ways. We will use the best-suited technology for your ideal marking result depending on the material used. Our customers face the challenge that the marking must be permanent, reliably legible, traceable and have good contrast. Be it processes with minimized material loads or biocompatible processes for medical technology, heat and light resistivity, forgery protection and secure tracing for mechanical engineering: We are your partner for professional individual and series marking. Even markings on silicone elastomers are not a hurdle for us. Challenge us!
FINISHING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL — ASSEMBLY
We specialize in the assembly of small assembly groups, can adapt to the individual requirements of our customer and are in a position to manufacture in a cost-efficient manner. Leaving production completely to us is particularly sensible if parts of the product must be cleaned prior to assembly. We also take care of procuring, materials planning and storing components that we do not produce ourselves. We guarantee a hygienically unobjectionable procedure and avoid interface issues as well as any unnecessary transport. Training prepares our employees for the production of each and every product and therefore ensures perfect quality in assembly, cleaning and packaging.
